As with all ISF programs, research proposals will undergo a competitive peer-review process based on scientific excellence, as reflected in the evaluation criteria, which include:
Compatibility with program goals and requirements; originality and innovation of the proposal; significance and implications for human biology and medicine; appropriate methodology; detailed data management ensuring broad access to the scientific community; capability of the principal investigators; feasibility of the proposal; optimal choice of research approaches and technologies; and adherence to high ethical standards, including regulatory approvals.
