The Delivery Mechanism of Tumor-Derived Extracellular Vesicles
Grant Amount: NIS 1.75 Million
About the Project
This research will focus on understanding the delivery mechanism of tumor-derived extracellular vesicles, which are membrane-bound compartments that are secreted from cancer cells to carry out a number of functions that support tumorigenesis, such as invasion, metastasis and suppression of the immune response. The information gained will be used to develop methods for early diagnosis, and to design a synthetic drug delivery system.
