IPMP Announces NIS 32 Million in New Grants to 11 Promising Research Proposals
On October 18th, the Israel Precision Medicine Partnership (IPMP) announced the winners of its third program cycle, granting NIS 32 million to 11 proposals which promise to position Israel at the forefront of global research in this area. The international selection committee, which chose from 100 applications, was headed by Nobel laureate Prof. Roger Kornberg of Stanford University. To date, IPMP has awarded NIS 152 million over three program cycles; a fourth and final program cycle is planned for 2022. 
Launched in 2018, IPMP pools budgetary resources from the Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC) of the Council of Higher Education (CHE), the Ministry of Health, the National Digital Affairs Directorate - Ministry of Economy, and the philanthropic organizations Yad Hanadiv and the Klarman Family Foundation (Boston).
